Tool and Die Supervisors

Responsibilities Include:

1. Assisting the Tool Room Manager in maintaining a safe quality-minded and productive work environment.

2. Must have a sense of urgency to support production requirements.

3. Work directly with Tool Room Manager to support daily team meetings per shift.

4. Assist Tool Room Manager and Team Leaders in planning & scheduling assigned shift responsibilities.

5. Assist Tool Room Manager and Team Members in monitoring an effective PM program.

6. Assist Tool Room Manager in scheduling & monitoring outsourced projects.

7. Assist Tool Room Manager in implementing & monitoring a daily Continuous Improvement Program.

8. Assist Tool Room Manager in developing and maintaining an effective apprenticeship program. Assist Tool Room Manager in ensuring all team members are treated fairly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

* Must be a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker

* Minimum 4 yrs die making experience

* Minimum 4 yrs trouble shooting experience

* Ability to assist with strip layout

* Process and die design reviews

* Show strong leadership & communication skills

* Be proficient in organizational, scheduling and planning skills, basic computer skills

* Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, must exhibit high integrity and honesty.
